FESTIVALDELGUSTO SEPTEMBER 2015

We are currently working on plans for our next Festivaldelgusto to be held at the Castello di Monterado in Marche on Sunday 27th September. This years festival will be bigger than ever with over twenty producers taking part and we will also be inviting leaders of Slow Food groups in the UK, USA, Holland and Malta.
There will also be a repeat of last years popular olive oil school workshop and talks hosted by some of the local olive oil producers in the Marche region. There will also be free tutorial wine tasting and of course the possibility to taste all the great products on display included some Slow Food presidia from both Le Marche in Italy and Anglia in Enlgand thanks to the new partnership we set up with them.
The event on Sunday the 27th will be starting at 4:30pm allowing one hour for our guests to arrive and introduce themselves.
5:30pm There will be a welcoming aperitif and a small introduction about the Festival and its main aims and purposes with a small presentation from our guests and hosts with a short description of the evening.
There will also be free tutored wine tastings of up to five wines all made by small organic producers from the central and southern areas of the Marche region
9.00pm The supper will be host by La Tavernetta Sull'Aia a very well know restaurant specialising in typical Le Marche traditional dishes will start with an ample amounts of antipasti and then a series of fantastic main courses that will go on coming until you'll be unable to eat any more!

Tagliere di salumi e formaggi con erbe di campo e piadine - A selection of cured meats, cheeses and local vegetables cooked in extra vergin olive oil and garlic served with piadina (a typical Le Marche flat bread)
PRIMI - PASTA DISHES
Tagliatelle all'uovo al sugo d'anatra - Tagliatelle egg pasta with tomato and duck sauce
Gnocchi in bianco con verdure - Home made gnocchi with vegetables
SECONDI - MAINS
Arrosto misto con insalata a parte - Roasted meat (duck, rabbit, guinea-hen, goose and chicken) served with green salad
Fritto misto marchigiano - A selection of Le Marche traditional fried meat and vegetables including "olive ascolane" (deep fried green olives stuffed with meat) and "gnocchetti di crema" (deep fried small cubes of custard)
DOLCE - DESSERT
Dolce della casa - Home made dessert of the day
BEVANDE - DRINKS
Verdicchio - white wine
Rosso Piceno e Lacrima di Morro d'Alba - Red wine
Amari e caffe a fine pasto - A selection of traditional Le Marche spirits will be served with the dessert with espresso of course!
To Participate at the Festival del Gusto you need to book in advance!
